Sorry to start this edition of the newsletter off with such a downer of a tone, but uh

[attempts to gesture vaguely at everything but lacks the strength to move my own arms]

Anyway, hope you’re all coping with things as best you can. If these things are applicable to you, I earnestly recommend them:

• Not going to CNN or any other news thing for the time being to spare yourself the fresh hells that await us
• Getting off Twitter and Facebook and, if you need social media, try Bluesky, because it’s great. It’s like 2009 Twitter and you can just make it whatever you want it to be and can block all trolls and Nazis into oblivion. It’s nice.
